Presenter: Minal Giri, MD, FAAP
Dr. Giri, a board certified pediatrician, is the Executive Director or the Midwest Human Rights Consortium and the founder and physician chair of the ICAAP Refugee Child Health Initiative. She is a an advocate for healthcare access and human rights, particularly for immigrant and refugee children and adolescents.

Presenter: Brenda Weidner, MD & daughter Addison Weidner
Dr. Weidner is a board certified pediatric hospitalist at Children’s Nebraska and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital. She and her daughter Addison, an honor roll sophomore at Skutt High School, will tell their story related to Methacrylate exposure.

Presenter: Matt Gibson, MD, FAAP
Dr. Gibson is a board certified general pediatrician practicing with Methodist Physicians. He has a special interest in vaccines as well as health care advocacy and led a four-year campaign to increase HPV vaccination rates and serves on his health system’s vaccine committee. He is the NEAAP president elect.

Presenter: Clayton Mowrer, DO, MBA, MPH, FAAP
Dr. Mowrer is board certified in pediatrics, internal medicine and infectious diseases. He practices with Children’s Nebraska and at UNMC as an Assistant Professor, UNMC Department of Pediatrics, Division of Infectious Diseases and as Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases.

Presenters: Jennifer Meeks, PhD and Holly Roberts, PhD
Dr. Meeks is a Senior Research Manager at the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center (NUPPC), where she conducts research and program evaluation studies in the fields of education and behavioral health. Currently, her work focuses on the assessment and promotion of school-based mental health services and family engagement.
Dr. Roberts is a licensed psychologist and Professor in the Department of Psychology at the Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) at UNMC. Among other roles, Dr. Roberts is also the Project Director for the Clinical Demonstration Team through the HRSA-funded Nebraska Partnership for Mental Healthcare Access in Pediatrics (NEP MAP)

Presenter: Priscilla LaCroix, DO, FAAP, IBCLC
Dr. LaCroix is a board certified general pediatrician practicing at Children’s Nebraska.
